dance4life promote AIDS awareness in the Netherlands with social interaction campaign

dance4life, a global nonprofit organization that raises HIV and AIDS awareness amongst young people, has run an attention-grabbing Out-of-Home and Television campaign in the Netherlands. As an official partner of the organisation, Exterion Media worked with dance4life to bring their campaign to life across the Netherlands using 600 bus shelters, 600 station spreads and 9 Social Interaction shelters.

The campaign, called Ermelo4Ermelo after the two cities named Ermelo in the Netherlands and South Africa, aimed to raise awareness of the disease amongst their young target audience. To drive home the global spread of the disease, the Social Interaction shelters featured a quiz where participants were given AIDS related statistics and asked if the figure was representative of the Netherlands or South Africa. People were also given the opportunity to have their photo taken using the Social Interaction shelters, which could then be viewed and shared via the dance4life Facebook page.
