Exterion Media France wins the tender of Paris' public Palisades
Following a highly competitive tender process, the city of Paris has awarded Exterion Media France the contract to operate advertising on the city’s public Palisades. The contract will see Exterion Media take over the management and development of the advertising estate for the next 13 years.
From January 1st 2015 onwards, Exterion Media will begin installing around 150 scrolling 8 m² billboards across Paris. The billboards, which will be carefully designed to be respectful towards the local environment, will offer huge potential for brands to reach and capture the attention of consumers in prime locations across the capital. They build on Exterion Media’s new format "Les Ecrins de Paris" – billboards designed and developed by Exterion Media to integrate seamlessly into the painted wall background- and will add significantly to their presence in the capital, strengthening both their national and local offering.
Jean-François Curtil, MD Exterion Media France, commented: “With this strategic contract, won in a particularly competitive environment, Exterion Media has strengthened its position as a major player in the National Outdoor market as Paris represents nearly 30% of the national audience. This is great news for Exterion Media, and the culmination of two years’ investment in our Paris offering. Moreover, it’s exciting news for advertisers as we’re able to offer them greater choice and more opportunities to reach audiences in the heart of Paris.
