Exterion Media Spain tempts bus passengers with innovative sampling campaign
Exterion Media Spain has partnered with Dormitienda, the Spanish bedroom furniture store, to bring a sampling campaign to EMT Valencia’s buses for the first time. Over a three day period Dormitienda gave away 1,500 bags containing a pillow, promotional magazine, and a discount coupon to passengers on board the buses. The interactive campaign ran from 9.30am to 13.30pm, and 16.30pm to 20.30pm, targeting a wide range of audiences from shoppers to commuters.
The innovative sampling campaign forms part of Exterion Media’s wider development strategy for new approaches to bus advertising, including the redesign and better utilisation of the buses’ advertising space. This new approach has provided small and medium sized companies with greater opportunities to advertise on the buses, and EMT Valencia has seen their advertising revenue increase by 7.24% in the first half of 2014.
