New Colours, New Places: 3M creates Post-it bus shelter
To celebrate the launch a new range of ‘Super Sticky Notes’ colours, 3M created an eye-catching Post-it bus shelter in Rotterdam. The shelter was filled with nearly 2,000 Post-it notes in the new colours- Bora Bora, Rio de Janeiro, Marrakech and Bangkok- transforming it into a colourful work of art. Promotional staff were also on-hand throughout the day to share the Super Sticky Post-it Notes with passers-by.
Alongside the Post-it shelter, the ‘New Colours, New Places’ campaign also ran on 1,500 sites across the Netherlands, alongside a mobile marketing campaign around outlets of the 'Super Sticky Notes'.
Guy Grimmelt, Marketing and Business Development Director at Exterion Media Netherlands commented: "We would like to thank 3M and MediaCom for their confidence in Exterion Media to create the entire outdoor campaign, from the creative concept to its implementation. The campaign is fun and colourful, but also really shows the stickyness of Post-its!"
Robbert van Roon, Regional Marketing Manager Benelux, at 3M Consumer Business Group added: "People use notes every day to make sure they remember the important things they need to do. What better way to do this than using the Super Sticky Notes? Particularly as using different colours encourages positive emotions. Moreover, if you use Super Sticky Notes your message will definitely stay in place! We therefore wanted to highlight the versatility of the product through our ‘New Colors, New Places’ outdoor campaign.”
