Exterion Media Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week
This week Exterion Media is celebrating the 10th anniversary of National Apprenticeship Week - and the first year of our own Apprenticeship Programme.
We’re keen to increase the cultural diversity of our business and believe it’s important to develop and invest in our workforce. One of the ways in which we aim to achieve this is through our Apprenticeship Programme. Our Apprenticeship Programme accounts for nearly 4% of our entire workforce, and includes individuals of all ages – our oldest apprentice has worked for the business for 26 years and our youngest is 18 years old, fresh out of secondary school.
We’re proud to say we now have 13 apprentices who are working hard to increase their skills and grow within the business. Our apprentices celebrated National Apprenticeship Week today with a unique opportunity to present to senior stakeholders and external guests about the outstanding work that they’ve done so far – showcasing the positive impact they’ve had on the business as a whole and how an apprenticeship has been the right choice for them. Among the external guests are senior members of the enei and TfL – including Commercial Development Director, Graeme Craig and The Deputy Mayor of Camden, Councillor Richard Cotton.
