Exterion Media's work.shop.play. panel go speed dating with Travel clients
In an Exterion Media first, our Research team and the7Stars yesterday hosted a live work.shop.play. panel session at the7Stars London HQ - where, in speed dating style, we invited our very own work.shop.play. panellists to come and speak with travel clients about their attitudes towards holidays and travel planning.
Attracting 12 different travel clients, the event involved a work.shop.play. ‘speed insights’ session with seven of our panel members, a presentation on our joint, bespoke research project ‘Busting Travel Myths’, and an engaging interactive game aimed at busting common assumptions. The clients were also given the opportunity to put forward questions they would like to ask the panel in future.
This was a unique and innovative opportunity for brands to interact with our research and gain first-hand insight from our award-winning consumer panel. The first of its kind, the event gave brands an exclusive opportunity to capitalise on deeper audience understanding to inform future campaign planning.
The project was a resounding success, receiving great feedback from clients and from panel members themselves.
The event also addressed ‘Travel in the Future’ based on findings from the project’s joint research, focusing on conflict abroad and implications of Brexit.
Tanase Rivers, Marketing Communications Manager at On the Beach, said: “The session was really enjoyable, interesting and timely - particularly given the challenges and changes currently facing travel companies. It is great to know confidence is on the up post-Brexit uncertainties. The session gave us key focus to take away and improve”.
