Highlights from the Transported by Design Festival
As Tier One sponsor of the Transported by Design programme, the Exterion Media team were at the Transported by Design Festival on Regent Street on Sunday to celebrate the designs that have been keeping London on the move – ‘transporting’ audiences into the past, present and future of transport design.
Regent Street was transformed into a spectacular display of transport designs, marking the start of the annual Summer Streets programme, which sees Regent Street turned into an open, traffic-free space across four Sunday’s in July.
It was great to see the Transported by Design festival attracting large crowds along Regent Street. With our Kids’ Wrapped Bus winning design taking centre stage, we were thrilled to see how much attention the wrapped New Routemaster attracted – alongside the winner, Sehba Basra, who was the mini-celebrity of the day!
Overall, Exterion Media showed strong support at the festival – with our unmissable branding displayed across overhead flags, fencing, totems, toblerones, maps and on posters and DEPs throughout Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Bond Street, plus the TbD website!
Gavin Brice, Exterion Media’s Managing Franchise Director, gave our sponsor speech at the hospitality event, thanking the wider team for their contribution to making the festival such a success. Our friends at TINT let us know that the event was trending on social media on Sunday - with around 50 million impressions achieved!
We were absolutely delighted to see so many people enjoying the occasion in Sunday afternoon’s sunshine! The teams would like to thank everyone involved in making Transported by Design such a successful festival in the heart of London.
