Supercell's Clash of Clans campaign dominates London
Leading mobile gaming company, Supercell, launched an unmissable Out-of-Home campaign with Exterion Media to promote its popular Clash of Clans game. The ‘True Tales of Clash Achievery’ campaign is based on the idea that every Clasher has a story and recognises the various epic moments of the game such as ‘the brothers barbarian’, ‘the day the giants learned to fly’ and ‘the wizard that let none pass’.
This Out-of-Home campaign dominated the City of London with ads on the Underground and at Westfield London. From corridor wraps to platform dominations, commuters at central Underground stations will have been immersed in the Clash of Clans campaign and shoppers at Westfield will have spotted it running across both DOOH and
Creative Solutions assets.
The 5-week campaign, planned and booked by the7stars and Kinetic, has received plenty of attention with many taking to Twitter to express their views such as, ‘wall to wall tube ads for @ClashofClans’, ‘I’m very close to downloading clash of clans. The advertising campaign is really effective’ and ‘great to see @ClashofClans taking over Waterloo tube station! Well done @Supercellgames’.
