Through our 11,000 strong work.shop.play. urban panel, we have found some key insights about our urban audience across the festive season.

In 2016, we saw a major trend towards time-poor urbanites using their phones to buy Christmas gifts while on the go. However, this didn’t stop the majority of the UK hitting the highstreets with their Christmas lists.

An almost equal proportion of urbanites started their Christmas shopping in November (31%) and December (28%), with some even starting their research before then! While out shopping, many used their phone to take pictures of Christmas gift inspiration, compare prices online and locate shops.
