Campaigns of the Month - August
Below is a selection of our favourite campaigns this month. All of these campaigns demonstrate great imagination and creativity, and we love them all!
If you’ve passed through Oxford Circus in the past couple of weeks you’ll no doubt have seen Lucozade’s Find Your Flow campaign. But as well as utilising the creative solutions we offer, Lucozade has also used bus advertising to amplify the impact and reach of the brand’s campaign. The campaign transformed the Underground into a bright and fun place to be, intriguing passers-by. The walk-through tunnels were divided into “slow” and “fast” lanes to reflect the brand’s reposition for busy people on the move.
Dove Men+Care is the official male grooming supplier of the Rugby World Cup 2015 and we think these wrapped buses are a fantastic way for the brand to promote this partnership. The hashtag #Scrumtogether plastered across the bus creates a call to action for its target audience.
This August, you might have noticed that Old Street Tube station looked a little different to usual. Desperados, the world’s first Tequila flavoured beer took over the entire station with a daring new campaign. The creative used bright yellow, orange and red colours and the tagline ‘Way of the Desperados’ to create a distinctive look and feel for passers-by. By using a combination of advertising formats in the same station, including ticket gateways and escalator panels, the brand reached commuters at every stage of their journey.
Thames Water created a sense of community in its hometown of Reading with these ticket gateways and other advertising platforms around Reading railway station. With 82 million people having seen advertising at railway stations over the past week, this was a great opportunity for Thames Water to raise their profile in this strategic location.
