London’s history is brought to life with Streetmuseum
The Museum of London have brought the capital’s past to life – via the palm of your hand. Through the museum’s extensive art and photographic collections, the Streetmuseum app offers users a window through time into London’s past.

Once you’ve selected the location on the map, a historical image of that location appears on the screen, along with information about the image. The app also has a ‘3D View’ where users can hold their camera up to the present day street scene and see an old photograph of the same scene overlaid over the top, letting you walk side-by-side with Londoners from the past 200 years.
