Love Irish Food and Exterion Media Brand Award

Today, Love Irish Food in partnership with Exterion Media, the market leader in outdoor advertising in Ireland, has launched the annual Love Irish Food Brand Development Award. The Award aims to give one Love Irish Food member brand a powerful platform to promote their brand to consumers. 

The initiative will see one deserving Love Irish Food member brand receive €70,000 in advertising space, scheduled across Exterion Media’s retail six sheet portfolio, PurchasePoints® and across their premium digital network. The extensive out-of-home campaign will appear nationally for two weeks and includes print production and digital animation for broadcasting on Exterion Media’s digital network. To celebrate the fourth year of this Award, OwensDDB Advertising Agency will provide the winner with an €8,000 creative bursary towards the winning outdoor campaign.

Love Irish Food and Exterion Media will work closely with the winning brand to plan the campaign and optimize individual business objectives. Kieran Rumley, Executive Director, Love Irish Food said; “This initiative is one that we are very proud of and is reflective of the core goal of Love Irish Food as an organization which is to promote and support Irish manufactured food and drink brands. Small to medium sized brand producers may not have the opportunity to advertise to Irish consumers on a national level, so in this light the Brand Development Award represents a huge opportunity for one of our member brands to directly connect with their target audience and so take their brand to the next stage in development. Last year’s winners, Broderick’s Bars were worthy recipients of the award, and we are looking forward to another strong response from our members again in 2015”

Antoinette O’Callaghan, Marketing Manager, Exterion Media added “As judges we will be looking for demonstration of the drive, passion and belief in the brand and the potential for strong growth. The brand owner should have a clear vision how they can capitalise on this campaign and what benefits it will bring to their business.”

To enter, Love Irish Food member brands must register at by close of business on Friday 2nd October 2015. The closing date for completed submissions is Friday 23rd October 2015. The judging panel comprises of Kieran Rumley Executive Director, Love Irish Food, Antoinette O’Callaghan, Marketing Manager, Exterion Media and Barry Dooley CEO Advertising Association of Ireland. A shortlist of competitors will then be interviewed by the judging panel with the winner announced on Monday 6th November. See more at:
