Direct Sales Business Development Executive

We are seeking a bright, ambitious and talented Business Development Executive to join the Exterion Media Direct Sales team in Dublin. As an experienced sales person, reporting into the Direct Sales Manager, you will be immediately responsible for the delivery of annual sales targets, covering new and existing business development opportunities across Exterion Media’s premium traditional and out-of-home digital media assets. 

Your key remit is to proactively grow new customer acquisition and drive revenue by sourcing new business opportunities amongst national Direct advertisers, by identifying, qualifying and converting new prospects into confirmed advertisers.  The successful candidate will inherit a small portfolio of existing direct advertiser accounts, with an objective to bring on and retain renewed campaign activity.  The existing account management will form the lesser part of the overall target.

You will learn to be an expert in all aspects of the Exterion Media portfolio and inventory, selling across all bus, rail, retail and billboard assets.  A background of at least 2 years in a B2B sales role is crucial, however media sales experience, while preferable, is not essential.  You will need to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships both internally and externally.  In return you’ll have the opportunity to achieve a basic plus commission OTE and further your career in business development by joining a lively and welcoming Great Place to Work award winning company.
