What is the NI High Street Voucher Scheme?

The High Street Voucher Scheme forms part of Northern Ireland’s Economic Recovery Action Plan. It is a stimulus scheme which will give a welcome boost to high streets hard hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Up to 1.4 million people will have an extra £100 each to spend in physical businesses rather than online. 

 

The scheme officially launches on 27th September 2021 with voucher redemption taking place from 4th October through to 30th November 2021.

Over half want to see local businesses advertise throughout the scheme to give them ideas and inspiration about where to spend their voucher – rising to over 64% amongst those living in Belfast and Derry~Londonderry!
