Purpose of the role

The Account Manager will provide exceptional levels of service to the UK’s leading media agencies, clients & key influencers with Exterion Media. They will be responsible for delivering exemplary customer service and market leading creative and innovative sales solutions. This role demands proactivity, enthusiasm, passion and an unerring willingness to succeed.

Measures of success

  • Hitting sales targets
  • Meet call rates (minimum 8 per week)
  • Understand & evangelise on all elements of the Exterion Media portfolio: Bus, London Underground, National Rail & Retail
  • Develop media and product knowledge to a high standard
  • Proficiency in Creative and Innovative pitch work/sales stories to win business 
  • Cultivate strong and meaningful relationships across all departments in media agencies
  • Deliver market leading OOH sales solutions to drive revenue from other media channels
  • Be the No1 Media Owner Partner with your agencies 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver team, department and company targets
  • Accurate forecasting of business pipeline both short and long term on Sales Force (CRM)
  • Develop excellent relationships with planners & strategy teams at agencies and OOH specialists
  • Ability to bring to life Exterion portfolio with relevant solutions for briefs and development of proactive ideas
  • Sell the Outdoor medium alongside other media and against other media to win business
  • Exceptional negotiation and selling in order to maintain trading rates & focus on securing high volume deals
  • Write business plans and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of clients within each agency
  • Collaborate with OOH specialists in order to maintain & grow Exterion Media spend 
  • Manage relationships internally across satellite teams

  • Proven experience in media sales experience at Account Executive/ Manager level or equivalent. 
  • Strong understanding of the UK Media Market Place
  • Direct face to face agency sales experience
  • A track record of:
- Hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Developing meaningful agency relationships
- Proactive sales approach
- Delivering Creative and Innovative sales solutions
  • Proven account management experience 


  • GCSE's: Maths & English A-C
  • A-Level: 3 Subjects A-C
  • Degree: Honours
