Mindshare aims to 'Inspire and Invent' with their 2014 Huddle

For the fourth annual Huddle conference, the media agency Mindshare opened its doors for a ‘jam-packed agenda of intimate and no-holds-barred discussions about the future of media’. The great and good of the media world were invited, and this year Exterion Media were given the opportunity to host both a 'Huddle' and an 'Off Huddle'.

Our Huddle was an open discussion focusing around our London Villages work and the changing face of London’s communities. We invited Chris Lynham, Head of National Accounts for Westfield, to host and discuss the impact Westfield London has had on the surrounding area, and future developments and investment.

We were also lucky enough to host an ‘Off Huddle’ showcasing the next generation in Cross Track Projection (XTP) technology. In partnership with Seenit we broadcast dynamic video content captured entirely by Huddlers in real-time across our state-of-the art digital screen. ‘Seenit’, one of the most exciting and relevant tech start-ups in London, is a mobile application that turns employees and fans of a brand/event into mobile film crews.  For the Huddle event they created a branded app which prompted attendees to take footage on their phones during the various Huddle sessions they took part in. This footage was then edited and broadcast to a real time feed projected via an XTP2 unit onto a screen for everyone to enjoy. 

We had great success across the day with over 350 videos being submitted and huge interest in the contextual content shown through a DOOH asset. It was a great example of mobile technology and digital outdoor advertising working together to create impactful content.
