The 2018 Olivier Awards

Exterion Media have proudly partnered with The Olivier Award’s for the past six years, together celebrating excellence in the theatre industry. Once again, this year we were lucky enough to have been invited to the awards ceremony, which didn’t fail to astound us with star-studded performances throughout the night.

It was an honour to be able to witness some incredible shows, and see directors, actors and actresses receiving such prestigious awards. Some of the winners included:

• The Ferryman – best new play

• An American in Paris – best set design

• Hamilton – outstanding achievement in music, best new musical, best lighting design (to name a few)

Other nominees included 42nd Street, Bat out of Hell, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Girl from the North Country.

Exterion Media advertises a wide array of musicals and plays across our formats, including Bus, London Underground and National Rail. Many of which were nominees and winners from the Olivier’s this year!

42nd Street Musical on London NBFL

A notable moment for Exterion Media in September last year was having Wicked on our digital screens at Canary Wharf – the largest screens on the TfL Rail Estate! This was the first ever theatreland campaign on London Underground, and was also a celebration of the show’s 11th birthday!

We’re big fans of theatre, and congratulate all the nominees and winners at the 2018 Olivier Awards.
