Wall's says Goodbye Serious to London shoppers

If you were at Westfield Stratford shopping centre on Saturday 8th August, you might just have captured a glimpse of TV comedian, Mark Watson as he helped to kick off Wall’s Goodbye Serious campaign, in an exclusive live one day event. 

The ice cream brand positioned a pop-up shop at the busy shopping centre to attract hungry shoppers, and even had Mark Watson serve some customers their ice creams! Wall’s took over the largest digital Outdoor screen at Westfield Stratford and entertained shoppers with teaser live performances by the comedian. 


Fun and cheeky comments appeared on the screen throughout the day, interacting with people passing by and directing them to the pop-up shop. Wall’s kept the momentum of this fantastic event going, with further digital activity throughout August. 

The campaign was designed to help London shoppers say ‘Goodbye Serious’ by eating ice cream and forms part of Wall’s wider brand positioning, supported by other Outdoor channels, TV, social and mobile activity.

We think this is a fantastic example of how brands can use of Out-of-Home to encourage interaction with your consumers, whilst also having a bit of fun!
